“Saturday Night Live” host Ryan Gosling grew frustrated as a surprise appearance from Harry Styles — next weekend’s emcee and musical guest — totally distracted him during his monologue.

The actor, who is making media rounds for his movie “Project Hail Mary,” swiftly pointed out Styles as the pop star sat in the front row so he could “get a feel for” his upcoming hosting gig.

“So professional, that’s awesome,” said a nervous Gosling as Styles calmly watched along with the rest of the crowd.

As Gosling pitched his sci-fi movie using a floating model Earth to his side, he emphasized that “everyone you know” and “everyone you’ve ever heard of” has lived out their lives on the planet.

But the “SNL” cameras were focused on Styles, who was nodding along to Gosling’s monologue.

“Why are we on Harry Styles?” Gosling asked.

“I don’t know, I’m just listening,” Styles replied.

“Well, could you listen less cool?” Gosling wondered. “It’s like your coolness is becoming a bit of an issue.”

As Gosling tried to march on, the “SNL” crew rolled out a split screen of Styles and the actor.

And when Gosling asked to “get rid of the split screen,” the crew took him out of frame as Styles seized the entire screen.

“C’mon, what’s going on with camera two?” asked Gosling before learning that the cameraman was rocking an “I ❤️ Harry” tee.

The actor later revealed how Styles is linked to “Project Hail Mary” by noting that his co-star Sandra Hüller sings the “anthem of our generation” in the movie: Styles’ 2017 number “Sign of the Times.”
